go tell it on the mountain

There are moments in life when we need to pause and speak directly to our soul. Not out of routine or obligation—but out of reverence, gratitude, and memory. Tell your soul that the Lord is good! Speak to yourself and remind yourself of what God has done. the Bible says, “remember the Lord thy God,” meaning to make record and give an account to what He has performed in your life. Even the mountains witness God’s faithfulness in Micah 6:1 because He is good on His word.

In Deuteronomy 8:18, the Word tells us, “But you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth…” This reminder isn't just about provision—it’s about all He’s done. To ‘remember’ is to recount, to testify, to rehearse His faithfulness, and to anchor your spirit in truth.

Micah 6:1 paints a powerful picture. God calls the mountains and the hills to listen as witnesses of His righteous acts: “Listen to what the Lord says: ‘Stand up, plead my case before the mountains; let the hills hear what you have to say.’” Even creation testifies. So why not us? The trees have seen your tears, the valleys have heard your cries, and the mountaintops have echoed your praise. Don’t forget what He’s done.

What would happen if we made today a ‘mark of remembrance’? A line drawn in the sand declaring, “God has been faithful. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” What if we silenced every lie of doubt by reminding ourselves of every miracle, every breakthrough, every whisper of hope God has spoken over us?

Let this be your act of worship:

  • Write down what He’s done.

  • Speak aloud His goodness.

  • Praise Him with instruments, voices, and every fiber in your body for the times He came through.

  • Reflect on how far He’s brought you.

Your soul needs to hear your testimony. The same God who showed up before will show up again. Let your heart be encouraged—your history with God is proof of His consistency.

Today is a memorial. Today is a marker. Today is a testimony.
